Coaching Staff

Coach Huck: Head Coach

Coach Huck was born in Georgetown, Texas and is a graduate of East View High school class of 2018. She began her coaching career at 15, coaching summer leagues, YMCA teams, and then eventually club and collegiate volleyball. She attended Angelo State University from 2018-2022 and worked as a Student Assistant Coach for the Angelo State Volleyball team, who won the 2019 Conference Championship and were named the 2021 Division II National Champions. Coach Huck graduated from Angelo State University with a degree in Mathematics and minors in Education and Kinesiology. Upon graduation, Coach Huck began teaching and coaching in San Antonio, Texas at Pieper High School and Force Volleyball Club. She is excited to be back in her home town, at her home high school, and is ready to bring a higher level of competition, skill, and confidence to the East View High School Volleyball Program.  

Coach Crawford: Assistant Coach/Flex Team

Coach Crawford grew up in Lubbock, TX and is a graduate of Texas Tech University (Bachelor's) and Purdue University (Master's). Coach Crawford has been coaching athletics since 2005, coaching volleyball at the competitive level since 2015, serves as a Regional Official for USA Volleyball, and is also extending her coaching knowledge to the soccer field this year. Coach Crawford came to East View after a 10 year career in academia at the University of Texas as her true passion lies in working with the next generation. In her spare time she enjoys FaceTiming with her toddler nephew, walking her dog, and spending time enjoying the outdoors.

Coach Solorzano: Assistant Coach/ Freshmen Team

Coach Solo, a native of Georgetown, Texas, completed his high school education at East View High School in 2019. He furthered his academic and athletic pursuits at the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor, where he dedicated three years to the men's soccer program. During his senior year, he assumed the role of student assistant coach, contributing significantly to the team's success as they clinched the 2023 conference championship. Having earned a bachelor's degree in Spanish, Coach Solo returned to his alma mater, East View High School, to embark on a teaching career. Currently serving as the ESL lead, he has also embraced his passion for coaching sports, marking his inaugural year in this role. Coach Solo brings a wealth of hardwork and enthusiasm to the volleyball program, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to supporting the teams in achieving success both academically and athletically. His dedication extends beyond the sports arena, as he strives to empower his students to excel in all facets of life.
