Football Coaching Staff
Jon Ross Sr.
Coach Ross brings 11 years of coaching experience into the 2024 season, entering his third year at East View where he will serve as the Offensive Coordinator. After graduating high school, Ross attended THE University of Mary Hardin-Baylor where he was a four year letterman at wide receiver for the nationally ranked Crusaders. He received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Sports Science and Interdisciplinary Studies. Coach Ross is married to his beautiful wife, Megan and they have two amazing children: Mya Jade (7) and JC (3). He would like to thank his family for their love and support. Coach Ross is excited to help lead & mold the outstanding young men & women of East View Patriot Athletics!
Art Hernandez
Coach Art Hernandez is entering his 6th year at East View High School, and 6th overall, and this year will be coaching the Defensive Ends. Before coming to East View, Coach Hernandez competed in Track & Field as he graduated with both his Bachelor's & Master’s in Kinesiology from Tarleton State University. Coach Hernandez is also the strength and conditioning coordinator as well as teaching social studies. Coach Hernandez is recently married to his beautiful wife Noelle and is honored to have the opportunity to be a part of his alma mater. Go Patriots!!!
Brady Bond
Coach Brady Bond is entering his 3rd year at East View High School and 17th season of coaching. Coach Bond will serve as the Defensive Coordinator and Safeties Coach. Coach Bond started his coaching career at his Alma Mater, Cedar Hill. After leaving Cedar Hill he has spent time at Lake Travis, L.D. Bell, Marshall and Forney. Coach Bond has been a part of 8 district championship teams and a State Finalist in 2012. Coach Bond is a graduate of North Texas and served as a volunteer with the strength and conditioning program. Coach Bond is married to Brittany; they have two boys, Bowen (8) and Baker (7).
Peter Dittmer
Coach Dittmer is entering his third year of coaching at East View High School as the Assistant Offensive Line Coach. Coach Dittmer comes to East View High School teaching aeronautical classes at various universities. He holds an Ed. D in Organizational Leadership, as well as a BBA from Texas A&M University. When not coaching he is involved in teaching CTE classes, mentoring students building and then flying an RV -12 aircraft. He has been married to his beautiful wife for 34 years, and has three grown children. Coach Dittmer looks forward to being a part of the East View Patriot family this year and is excited to have a successful year as a Patriot Coach!
Robert Smith
Coach Robert Smith is entering his 6th year coaching and 2nd year at East View High School. Coach Smith Graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma. Coach Smith will be the Linebacker coach and Special Teams Coordinator. He has worked at his alma mater Lake Travis and most recently at Magnolia High School.

Matt Taylor (updated 7/13/2024)
Coach Taylor is entering his fourth year as a coach for the East View Patriots. He will be coaching football and baseball. Coach Taylor graduated from Round Rock High School. He played four years of college baseball. Coach Taylor graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with a Bachelor’s in History and a Master’s in Pedagogy. Coach Taylor is married to Jennifer. They have 3 children: Jack, Beth, and Leah.

Noah Paradis
Coach Paradis is entering his third year as a teacher and his second year as a coach for East View High School where he will be coaching football and basketball. Coach Paradis was born and raised in Houston, Tx where he graduated from Stratford High School in 2018. He went on to attend Southwestern University where he was a member of the basketball team and acquired his Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a concentration on Secondary English/Language Arts. Coach Paradis is heavily inspired by his parents who were both involved in Education and inspired him to pursue a career in teaching and coaching. He can’t wait to continue to be a part of the East View family! Go Patriots!
Douglas Bond
Coach Doug Bond is entering his 10th year in Georgetown ISD, 11th year in education and 16th year coaching. Coach Bond is entering his 2nd year at East View High School where he serves as the assistant head football /offensive line coach, head boys powerlifting, FCA campus coordinator and works in the SPED department as a BCS teacher.
Coach Bond has an undergraduate degree in sociology from Northeastern State University and a masters degree in Counseling and Human Development from Hardin-Simmons University. Previous to teaching and coaching at East View High School, Coach Bond spent time at Killeen Chaparral High School and 9 years at Georgetown High School.
Coach Bond and his wife, Jessica, have three children. Londyn (16), Jordyn (6), and Kason Bond (4). His family attends Church on the Rock in Georgetown where he enjoys serving within the usher department.
Coach Bond and his family are happy to call Georgetown home and look forward to serving this community in any way they can!
Trent Willoughby
Coach Willoughby is entering his first season as a teacher and coach at East View. Coach Willoughby graduated from Boerne Champion High School and Southern New Hampshire University with an undergraduate degree in General Studies. Before his arrival at East View, Coach Willoughby spent three years at The Geneva School of Boerne, where he coached football, basketball, and soccer. He is excited to join the East View family and is looking forward to contributing to the success of the program and the community. Go, Patriots!
Caleb Shufelt
Caleb Shufelt is beginning his first year at East View High School and his 5th year in education. He, along with his wife Laura Beth "LB" and their 1-year-old daughter Hazel, are joining us from Flowood, Mississippi. Coach Shufelt graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Finance. While in Mississippi, he was part of two state championship teams, one as the offensive coordinator at Magee High School and the other as Head Track Coach at Ridgeland High School. He and his family are excited to become part of the East View family and build relationships within the community.
Hunter McQuary
Hunter McQuary is beginning his first year at East View High School and his 4th year of teaching and coaching. Coach McQuary is originally from Tomball, a city located in the northwest Houston area. He graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School in Tomball where he played football and baseball. After High School, Coach McQuary attended The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and received a Bachelors Degree in Biology. Additionally while working on his undergraduate at UMHB, Coach McQuary was a member of the baseball team playing catcher for the Cru.
Coach McQuary’s inspiration for becoming a teacher and a coach starts with witnessing many members of his family change lives through involvement in education and athletics. His father currently is serving his 36th year in Tomball ISD as a teacher and a coach, and his mother has been equally involved in education from teaching in the classroom to administration.
Coach McQuary is unbelievably excited to be a member of East View HS and is looking forward to an incredible first year! Go Patriots!
Ryan Warner
Coach Warner is entering his 12th season of coaching and his first season at East View. Coach Warner has been a defensive line coach, special teams coordinator, defensive coordinator, and assistant head coach at several other high schools. He graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science degree and from Concordia University of Texas with a M.Ed. in Sports Administration. Coach Warner has been married to his wife, Sarah, for 19 years and has 5 children; Aries (23), Lorelai (16), Delilah (14), Lillian (11), and Jack (7). Coach Warner is proud to have the opportunity to be a part of the East View family.

Jason Kenny
Coach Kenny is in his 2nd year teaching and coaching, and his first year at East View, where he will be coaching football and basketball. Coach Kenny attended Western Washington University and graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s in Exercise & Sports Science. He is excited for the opportunity to be a member of East View High School and help make an impact in the classroom and on the field. Go Patriots!
