Coach Travis Purcell

Coach Travis Purcell is entering his 6th year in GISD and his 3rd year at East View High School. Coach Purcell has played an integral role in the success of the Patriots the last two seasons.  Prior to his arrival at East View, Coach Purcell spent the previous three years teaching and coaching at Wagner Middle School.

Coach Purcell attended Texas A&M University and earned an education degree in 2020; Coach Purcell teaches math.

When he isn't on campus, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Savannah, listening to live music, playing basketball and competing on the golf course.
